Harrison Candelaria Fletcher is the author of the award-winning nonfiction works Descanso for My Father and Presentimiento: A Life in Dreams. His lyric essays, prose poems and personal essays have appeared widely in such venues as New Letters, TriQuarterly, Fourth Genre and The Best of Brevity. A native New Mexican, he teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing programs at Vermont College of Fine Arts and Colorado State University. He is also a contributing editor at Speculative Nonfiction and co-nonfiction editor at Colorado Review.
